Trumpilla ei ole ollut tarkoituskaan auttaa Ukrainaa sodassa Venäjää vastaan, päinvastoin ja Putin kiittää tässä tällä toimella nyt Trumpia hänen imperialistissa pyrkimyksissään.

Greenland’s vast reserves of rare earth elements and hydrocarbons could play a pivotal role in reshaping the global energy transition. Scientists estimate the island holds enough critical minerals to supply roughly a quarter of future global demand.
Far from being just an ice-covered wilderness, Greenland is a geological heavyweight. Billions of years of tectonic activity, volcanism, and mountain building have concentrated extraordinary deposits of gold, rubies, and strategic metals. In addition, the United States Geological Survey estimates Greenland’s onshore hydrocarbon potential may rival the total proven oil reserves of the United States.
The greatest strategic value lies in rare earth elements such as neodymium and dysprosium—essential for electric vehicles, wind turbines, and other clean technologies. While these resources could help diversify supply chains and accelerate decarbonization, extracting them from beneath ice sheets and fragile ecosystems presents serious environmental and logistical challenges.
